#10 mexico city
A photo diary from my first time in Mexico City. We mostly went for the food, but found ourselves spending a lot of our time slowly wandering the streets taking it all in. The city is eclectic and colourful and much greener than I expected for the world’s fifth largest metropolis. Given its size there was no way we could experience everything the city has to offer, even staying for a while, but we gave it a good shot working our way through different neighborhoods and restaurants. We loved Roma, Colonia, and Polanco, and spent a lot of our time exploring here, as we wanted to focus on getting to know the neighborhoods and local spots rather than ticking off tourist sights. There’s so much more of the city to see, let alone day trips to surrounding areas or exploring the rest of the country - I’ll definitely be back.
A few of our foodie highlights:
Rosetta (the main restaurant as well as Rosetta Panaderia)
Blanco Colima
Quentin Coffee
El Moro Churreria
Xuni Mezcaleria
Licorería Limantour
Niddo Cafe Polanco
Lardo
Omusubi House
